  • What expenses will I have?
Expenses for Authority Owners are as follows: -Dispatch - approx. $500 per week (to be deducted weekly from your owner operator) -Insurance - Insurance is an out pocket expense. This can range between $1110-$3000 for downpayment, and between $300-$800 per month(to be deducted weekly from your owner operator). -ELD - approx. $15-$25 per week (to be deducted weekly from your owner operator) -Tags (may be optional) Tags for your Owner Operator can range from 1500-2000 per year. This is your expense but can be deducted from your Owner Operator. Additional Operational Expenses may include: We have a bunch of owner operators that are always being vetted. However, they are unable to obtain either plates and/or bobtail and physical damage insurance. Ideally, most Trucking companies offer this as an incentive to their Owner Operators, paying the monthly premium and charging it back to the owner operator each week. This will create longevity between you and your owner operator. This is similar to what the larger companies do to retain their owner operators. On average, bobtail will be $3k (broken down into installments ) per year, with a partial down payment $250 monthly with an average deduction of $65 a week. This option will also move you to the front of the onboarding que. Factoring (to be deducted weekly from your owner operator) Trailer (to be deducted weekly from your owner operator) Fuel card (to be deducted weekly from your owner operator)
